Lou AI, Conversational Ordering
I lead UX for Lou and Papa Call, designing conversational ordering around one practical promise: help the customer get a better deal without making them work for it.

Make AI useful in a transactional flow without turning ordering into a novelty, forcing conversation, or hiding the manual path customers already understand.
Conversational flows, deal discovery, cart review, voice and touch states, adoption experiments, voice-ordering patterns and Papa Call handoff/recovery.
Lou adoption increased from 12% to 20% following UX updates and research. 62% of sessions using Lou resulted in a purchase. Papa Call operates in four stores and handles approximately 600 calls per week.
